Grown at 1650m above sea level Munay offer up a sensational illustration of what can be achieved when premium grapes are planted at altitude. The extended growing season permitted in the Cafayate Valley, Salta, has allowed higher levels acidity along with a greater concentration of fruit flavour. And we could not be happier with this offering!
Powerful aromatics burst out of the glass giving floral, citrus, stone and tropical fruit aromas along with a hint of kerosine-captivating! The palate is enveloping with pleasing acidity and body along with flashes of banana and cream on the finish.
This wine featured in Viva Argentina, February 2021. 70 households from across the UK along with participants from the USA and Netherlands had their heads turned to this blockbuster Argentine white wine. If you haven’t tried Torrontes before, you couldn’t find a better first at such an approachable price!
